KidsPoint Devotional: (September Week 1)
BLOOM (Birth-Kindergarten)
This month in Bloom, we are talking about how God has a plan for all of us. Our memory verse for the month of September is “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord.” Jeremiah 29:11, NLT
This past Sunday (September 7th), we read about Adam and Eve. We discussed that God has a plan for ALL of us! We talked about the plan God had for Adam and Eve; to take care of creation and to love God. We discussed that God has a special plan for each of us and He has BIG things for us!
We encourage you to read Genesis 1:27-30; 2:7; 2:15-23 with your kids and discuss the following questions.
We encourage you to pray with your child after devotion.
UPSTREET/ROUTE45 (1st-5th Grade)
This month in UpStreet/Route45, we are talking about having God’s plan for our lives and how we can step into that plan. Our memory verse for this month is “When I’m afraid, I put my trust in you.” Psalm 56:3 NIrV
This past Sunday (September 7th), we read about Moses and the burning bush. We learned that there are times God will ask us to do something new and that can be scary at first, but God promises to be with us. We discussed that it takes courage to step out of your comfort zone but we can pray for courage and trust that His Holy Spirit will be with us wherever we go.
We encourage you to read Exodus 3:1-15; 4:10-16 with your kids and discuss the following questions.

A note from the KidsPoint team.
Hello Parents!
We are so excited for all that God has in store for us this year, not only in KidsPoint but as a whole at BridgePoint. We believe that our kids are vital to the mission of our church, as well as the future of our communities. As part of our vision for this year, we want to partner with you, parents, to help incorporate more biblical practices in the daily life of our kids. We want to be intentional in teaching our kids how to take real ownership of their relationship with God and we believe that begins in your home.
Starting this year, KidsPoint is sending out weekly devotions and discussion questions for you and your kids. These devotions will be short but they will coincide with what your child is currently learning in KidsPoint. We encourage you to take some time throughout the week to sit down with your kids and discuss what God is teaching them and how they can apply it to their everyday life. This could be at the dinner table, in the car on the way to a sports game/practice, or even before bed. Our hope is that these devotions will assist you in helping foster your child’s relationship with God every day, as well as challenge them to dig deeper into their faith and in God’s word.
We look forward to all God has in store for you and your kids as well as our entire church family!
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6
Sincerely,
The KidsPoint Team
