KidsPoint Devotional: (February Week 1)
BLOOM (Birth-Kindergarten)
This month in Bloom, we are learning about how we can see God in EVERYTHING, even the “ordinary” parts of life. This month’s memory verse is, “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:6
This past Sunday (February 1st), we learned about the widow at Zarephath. We read about how the widow was out collecting sticks when the prophet Elijah met her. Because of the widow's obedience, God blessed her. God showed the widow that He sees us in every moment and we can see God through how He provides for us.
We encourage you to read 1 Kings 17:7-16 with your kids and discuss the following questions.
We encourage you to pray with your child after devotion.

A note from the KidsPoint team.
Hello Parents!
We are so excited for all that God has in store for us this year, not only in KidsPoint but as a whole at BridgePoint. We believe that our kids are vital to the mission of our church, as well as the future of our communities. As part of our vision for this year, we want to partner with you, parents, to help incorporate more biblical practices in the daily life of our kids. We want to be intentional in teaching our kids how to take real ownership of their relationship with God and we believe that begins in your home.
Starting this year, KidsPoint is sending out weekly devotions and discussion questions for you and your kids. These devotions will be short but they will coincide with what your child is currently learning in KidsPoint. We encourage you to take some time throughout the week to sit down with your kids and discuss what God is teaching them and how they can apply it to their everyday life. This could be at the dinner table, in the car on the way to a sports game/practice, or even before bed. Our hope is that these devotions will assist you in helping foster your child’s relationship with God every day, as well as challenge them to dig deeper into their faith and in God’s word.
We look forward to all God has in store for you and your kids as well as our entire church family!
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6
Sincerely,
The KidsPoint Team
