Christmas is for the hurting

Do you sometimes find yourself wondering if God really understands your hurt? Do you wonder why He isn’t reacting to your situation? Is He there and does He care? Many of us have had these questions and this time of year can bring our hurts to the surface.

In this message, we'll get a glimpse of someone in Jesus' family tree with some real hurts. What could that teach us about who Jesus is, how Jesus is working through hurts, and what the Christmas story of Jesus could do to help heal our hurting hearts?

• God isn’t afraid of you bringing your hurts and your questions to Him, do you believe that?
• When hurt, disappointment, or pain comes your way, do you take your questions to God? If not how can you start?
• Jesus wants to bring love to your hurting heart, what do you need to do to receive it?
