This guide is designed to help your group create a space for genuine connection and conversation within your discussion time. Don't feel pressured to address every question each week. Instead, allow the Holy Spirit to guide you as you lead your group in uncovering what God intends to communicate during your time together.

This guide comprises three sections: Loving, Learning, and Living. Each section aims to steer your conversation towards meaningful discussions about spiritual growth as individuals and as members of the body of Christ.

First moments together as a group to connect and pray (approx. 10-15 min).

• How have you seen God at work in your life since the last time we met?
• What has been one high and one low since the last time we met?
• How did you do with living out what we talked about last time we met?

Open with prayer and invite God to be part of your conversation and relationship.

The majority of the group discussion is devoted to open dialogue, reflecting on God’s Word and its personal application to each of our lives (approx. 60-75 min).

Big Idea: Jesus frees us to live as new creation people as we wait for his new creation to come.

When you hear the word "heaven," what images or ideas immediately come to mind? Where did those ideas come from? How has your conception of what heaven is changed over the course of the series?

Read Revelation 21:1–7. Brad pointed out that Revelation isn't primarily about God destroying creation but restoring it. How does that change the way you think about the future? Why do you think it's significant that God chooses to restore instead of simply start over?

Verse 3 says that the home of God is among humanity. Why is it important that God's future is described as God coming to dwell with humanity rather than humanity escaping to heaven? What does this reveal about God's heart and His relationship with creation?

Notice God says “I am making all things new" not “I am making all new things.” What's the difference? Where have you seen God bring renewal instead of replacement in your own life?

Read 2 Corinthians 5:17. What does it mean to be a new creation person today?
How should that shape the way we treat people, respond to conflict, or view our purpose?

Brad's big idea was: Jesus frees us to live as new creation people as we wait for his new creation to come. What would change if you truly believed God's future was already beginning in and through His people today, rather than in some distant future and some other place after we die?

The challenge for the week ahead is to grow in our faith and lovingly hold each other accountable through the community.

If God's mission is to make all things new, then followers of Jesus are invited to participate in that work. Where is God inviting you to bring restoration this week? In your family? At work? In your neighborhood? In our church?
