OUR VALUES

Romans 12:4-5 “For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.”
(Ephesians 4, 1 Corinthians 1:10, Philippians 2, Proverbs 27:17)
The Value of Community:: While our faith is personal, we believe faith is best lived out in community. We function as one body with many members, and we are best when we are united.
Mark 10:45 “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”
(1 Peter 4:10, Matthew 5:16, John 13:1-17)
The Value of Serving:: We follow the lead of King Jesus, we came not to be served, but to serve. Helping people is what we do.
Matthew 6:21 “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
(2 Corinthians 9:7, Mark 12:41-44)
The Value of Generosity/Stewardship:: We view it as a privilege, as opposed to an obligation, to get to give because it reflects the priority of our hearts.
Matthew 4:19 “And {Jesus} said to them, ‘Follow me, and I will make you…’”
(Philippians 1:6, Colossians 2:6-7, Romans 12:2, Ephesians 4:15)
The Value of Discipleship:: We believe becoming who God has made us to be requires change to produce good fruit.
Luke 19:10 “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
(Luke 15, Psalm 105:1, Mark 16:15, Acts 1:8)
The Value of Evangelism:: As people found by Jesus, we live to tell other people about Jesus.
